I've been making my yogurt for some time now and quite honestly I'm getting bored with adding fruit and jams so I've been making granola to add to my yogurt. It's super easy and quite healthy, not to mention much cheaper to make than buy pre-made.
On a baking sheet evenly pour 2-3 cups of oats, I prefer old fashioned oats instead of quick oats. They seem to keep their texture better in the bowl of yogurt. Next, add 1 cup of nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.) 1/2 cup of flax seed, 1 cup of dried fruit.
Now sprinkle over your bowl of yogurt and enjoy!
