A t-shirt for my Valentine.

Simply Screen Silk Screen Paint 2 Oz: Blue LagoonAfter making the bleach t-shirt the other day I thought it would be fun to try the same technique with screen print ink, so I did!
I created a Valentine's t-shirt for my lil' boy by cutting out some designs with my Cricut Expression and some left over vinyl.
I cut the words apart because it was easier to position them on his little shirt.

I positioned the words around the shirt overlapping the edges and so on. I used a product called Simply Screen (sorry for the crappy picture of that) that I found at HobLob. I believe they were $2.99 per tube and 50% off the day I picked them up.

I took the Simply Screen and drizzled it around my design and then used a piece of an old greeting card to smear it around and even it out. An old library card would have worked better but I was using what I had on hand, remember?
I let this sit for 24 hours (with the stencil left on) to dry.
Peeled off the stencil, set the ink with a DRY iron and washed.

I think it turned out pretty cute for less than $5.00 on a re-purposed shirt.
